take another look:

into the mirror.

into the past.

do you see yourself?

are you pleased with that?

i have read the works

of many great men;

stood where they stood

as many will again;

but it is not them-

who answer for me;

when i am thru,

and enter history.

for myself i must speak,

for the work i have done.

no one but me,

can run a race that i must run

so how am i doing,

will i be pleased when i am done?

let's just say, i'll aim for a better tomorrow

and we'll see when i'm done.
